Kim M. Reyes—the “M” stands for Marketing  (and Maio, my middle name)

I’m a dynamic and detail-oriented self-starter with 13+ years of creative and strategic experience at startup and growth-stage companies.

For the last five years, I have collaborated directly with company founders and the C-Suite to take charge of internal and client projects, going beyond a marketing scope to manage various tasks, including advertising, sales, operations, communications, and public relations.

In just the 2026 calendar year, I have led marketing projects for 7 Bay Area events, with more to come. My background also includes extensive copywriting experience, plus work in tech.

I believe there’s more to life than work, so onto the more personal details…

I’m a first generation Filipino-American, born to immigrant parents in the Los Angeles San Fernando Valley. Those who know me would say I don’t have a valley girl accent, but I do love malls and shopping. They say you can take the girl out of the valley, but I guess you can’t take the valley out of the girl.

I currently live in Oakland, CA, but spent over a decade of my life living in San Francisco. I adopted my dog Rigby back in 2018, and everyone claims that he only loves me, but I’ve seen the way he looks at cheese.

Speaking of love—I LOVE music, animals, and astrology. I dislike having a personal social media presence. Fun fact: I read tarot cards.
